Wurukum makurdi Benue State Nigeria
Almanah recently conducted a medical outreach for widows in Wurukum, Makurdi, Benue State, providing access to essential health screenings, medical consultations, and health education. The outreach was designed to address immediate healthcare needs while promoting wellness and dignity among vulnerable widows in the community. Through compassionate care and community partnership, we were able to support women who often face significant barriers to accessing quality healthcare.
On International Widows Day, Almanah brought together widows from across the community for a day of connection, encouragement, and healing. Through shared stories, heartfelt conversations, and moments of reflection, participants found strength in one another and were reminded that they are not alone. The gathering celebrated the resilience, courage, and dignity of widows while fostering a supportive community committed to hope, empowerment, and lasting impact.
